Okay, so I have a few pet peeves. I've gone to several restaurants lately that seem to have lost their desire to look after the little things. Not IHOP! This is going to sound silly, but when I get a side of fruit, I expect to receive something edible & I've been disappointed lately. Tonight I had the best side of fruit in very long time - honeydew, citrus, strawberries, grapes! And it was great! All delicious and refreshing. The rest of the meal was typical IHOP... Eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, peach pancakes. The usual quality and no issues, but you know they give a dang when the little stuff shows some attention to detail. And bravo on the service tonight. It's IHOP. It's not home cooking, but I would say it's the best breakfast chain out there. This location always seats is fast, always has good service and the food is what you expect at an IHOP, which is pretty good in my opinion. I like that they make frequent menu changes, offering holiday specialties from time to time.

Very busy but the waiter is on top of things. Clean floors is always a plus. The raspberry crapes are to die for. A little stuffy inside but there are a lot of peeps in here and a waiting like out the door.

Service was unbelievably slow, and the restaurant was so cold that everyone was wearing their jackets. This place just isn't worth it.

We tried to use a "birthday coupon" we received via email for my wife's birthday. We could not substitute a breakfast item for something more expensive than the crepes they offered, even though we would pay the difference, as we had done in the past at this restaurant with a manager's approval. This way, it is a win-win for the restaurant and for their repeat customers. We pay more than we would have otherwise, with a lower priced "free" item with the coupon... and we are able to get what we desired. The crepes are not that good and full of unwanted calories... They must be a lot cheaper to make and have a higher profit margin, as the district manager, Luis, would not allow us to purchase a higher priced item at $12.00 and have them deduct the price of the Crepe of $8.99 and pay the difference of $3.00. Luis said we could only substitute and use the coupon for an item of the same price or less ($8.99) of the crepe... but not use it to purchase a higher priced item and pay the difference. It is a wonder that this person achieved the position of "district manager" for IHOP. We have been going to this IHOP for years. Our server, Clinton, was wonderful and a terrific server... excellent service from him. We tipped Clinton well... as he was put into a tough position with the decision of his manager. And it was IHOP who sent my wife the "Happy Birthday" coupon email... By the way, we ordered two expensive omelets. They were marginal at best. Little ham and cheese in one omelet.... and the other omelet was overcooked and dry. The quality of the food at this IHOP has certainly deteriorated. There is a reason why tables are always available when going here.... They must be losing customers... as they have lost use as a customer.... * "District Manager" Luis gets one star... He was smug and rude.... a very poor representative of IHOP. He needs to go to school and learn customer service. *Clinton gets five stars.... He was very good. Prompt service and attentive... *Food gets 3 stars... not as good as the past.... but with a little more care it could move up.

Came here with my family and found the service to be sub par. When my family and I were out of beverages the waiter was in such a rush that he did not even notice that we were out. During this time, it was not very busy either. Additionally, he spoke so fast that you could not understand him.

Why do we always get seated next to the restrooms when we eat at IHOP? Busy this morning, but service was prompt and as needed. Food was mostly tasty as is usual with IHOP shops, but worth noting since they were VERY busy and the food was still coming out good. Most places get busy and the food quality drops off a bit. We'll be back next time we're in the mood.

Went there this morning for breakfast and left very full. Haven't been to an IHOP in a while. I was drawn in by a commercial I saw on tv for blueberry cheesecake Belgian waffles. I walked in and was promptly greeted by the greeter person. This location seemed to be very clean. I ordered my blueberry cheesecake waffle. I ate 3/4 of it as it was, no syrup. The last bit I ran out of blueberry topping for so I tried it with some maple syrup. I did not like the syrup at all. I was surprised since I can buy syrup from a store that tastes better than syrup from a place known for breakfast. I left very full. Hash brown, 2 egg and slice of ham with the full waffle cost about 10.50. You can get 1/2 waffle instead for a total of 7.50. I would suggest going that route as I wasn't able to finish all my food. I always feel IHOP is overpriced. I can get a similar meal from a local diner that tastes better with maybe a little more food for like 8.50. Overall an Ok visit though I think it'll be another long while before I go to an IHOP again.

I can't believe some of the best service I ever had was at the IHOP in Apple Valley. I got there about 5PM and it was starting to fill up. I just wanted something light and cheap. I ordered a short stack. I couldn't believe the size of them, even bigger than OPH. So I guess it does matter which one you go to. I asked for more then a small blob of butter, and he gave me quite a few blobs, and they tasted so good, and hot to the last bite. I was shocked at all the food listed on the menu. Aaron was so attentive for once I over tipped.

Food is amazing, had the bacon cheeseburger. Wish the burger party was slightly larger but the bacon was heaped on there and laid out correctly instead of most places where you have to arrange it so it is in every bite and not piled on one side Fiancé had eggs and hash browns with with bacon that I stole and a crepe on the side. Everything was amazing. In all fairness the bacon was thin and could have been thicker but for my burger is was a great thickness even though I loaded all her bacon onto my burger. The server was amazing. Talked with him casually for awhile and had great energy. The other server across the restaurant was siting down and the cool came out to talk Spanish with customers. Very unprofessional but for our server we lucked out. I would go again and I will within the next week or 2 to use the coupon we got with our receipt.
